Okay, a little story on this one.
Thanksgiving evening, the gray sky that normally plagues the beach my family stays at lets up enough to actually show the sunset colors on the beach and in the sky.
Our "Head Chef" (for I have NO IDEA how he's related to me, and never have known) had said that in seventeen years it had never been overcast on our Thanksgivings (which is important, because it had been raining up until that day this time).
So the adults were drinking wine and enjoying the sunset while i zoomed around snapping some final pictures of a beautiful sunset. Just as I was about to go back inside the beach house, the wine glass catches my eyes, and I quickly get my camera all set up for a final picture.
A week later, it astounds my art teacher as well as most of my class.
They say it looks like an ad for something, possibly a honeymoon if i think hard enough, and i really don't care.
I loved the photo, and I wish I had shown it to my grandma before she died.
she would have loved it.
THAT will really be one of my biggest regrets in life; not being able to show her a photo that captures one of her favorite places in such a nostalgic air.
This screams nostalgia to me.

I have come to the realization that I am in love with sunsets, twilight, endings, whatever you want to call the transition between evening and night.
The colors, even when the weather is cold, make me feel warm and comforted. It's almost the only time when I feel as if I am actually one with the world, as weird as it sounds.
Also, it reminds me of Cosmo Canyon, an imaginary place that i feel the most connection to. I am the master of my own illusions; i believe in the Lifestream with all my heart. THAT'S something that video games got right.
...
I think that's about all I can say about it.
